Noteables is the Booster Club for Jenks Vocal Music (JVM). It is an organization made up of parents, teachers, alumni, and Community Corporate Sponsors. Notable members are active in event planning, fundraising, and volunteer coordination that supports the JVM program’s Directors, Michael Shimp and Lisa Lahmeyer, and the students whom they inspire to greatness. In addition, we provide information to the Community about our award-winning vocal music program.
Our students have found a family in this program and we encourage you to join that family! Be actively involved by volunteering, sponsoring, and attending all JVM events to support the program and your child. This year we are asking for 100% booster club participation. Even if membership is out of your budget, please consider becoming a voting member for $50.00, volunteering, and coming to our meetings!

All volunteers must complete the JPS Volunteer Training for each school year. (jenksps.org – About JPS – Volunteer Program) All hours completed must also be logged through the district.
Publicity: Communicate with the media and public about the award-winning programs within Jenks Vocal Music.
Corporate Sponsorship: Participate in establishing contact and relationships with local businesses.
Library Volunteer: Spend time in the Music Library filing and organizing the music.
Enrollment: Staff the Vocal Music table at the Jenks High School schedule pick up in early August.
Fundraising: Volunteer to plan and executive student & booster club fundraisers throughout the year. There are many opportunities here.
Musical: Various positions and committees – details announced closer to musical.
Uniforms: Assist in fitting and maintaining choir uniforms year round. Volunteers are needed at concerts and performances.
Concert Decorations: 3 concerts per year, Coordinate and place decorations on stage.
Spring Banquet: Volunteer to plan and execute the banquet from start to finish.
